The Naval Aviation Museum is one of the BEST aviation museums one can visit, not just in the USA, but worldwide. It may not be the biggest, the USAF Museum in Dayton is, but it has more hands-on displays. The lighting is relatively bright for photography, and has very friendly, knowledgeable volunteers who make the visit a real pleasure.

There are impressive displays of Navy aircraft inside the Museum, and there are other aircraft behind the restoration hangars, these can be viewed by taking a bus tour. Pensacola, is also the home of the Blue Angels, with several Blue Angel aircraft displayed. It is also possible to see the Blue Angels practice from the Museum grounds on certain days.
